West End Fire and Rescue, October 07

A new contract is expected to be finalized by the end of the week. Once signed and the outstanding payment is made, staffing will be restored!

As temps climb into the hundreds this week, it’s important to recognize the warning signs of heat-related illness. Here’s how to tell the difference:

βœ… Heavy sweating
βœ… Pale or clammy skin
βœ… Dizziness or fainting
βœ… Nausea or vomiting

No Caption West End Fire and Rescue was dispatched for a vehicle in the water with the driver still inside near Longleaf Drive and Morris Drive in Seven Lakes West at approximately 5:45 PM this evening

West End Fire and Rescue, June 01

First arriving crews found a passenger car that had gone though a gate and was partially submerged on the rocks along the waters edge of Lake Auman. First arriving crews secured the vehicle, gained access to the patients and removed the patient from the vehicle and began rendering care until the arrival of EMS.

It appeared that the driver had a medical emergency prior the incident.
