Car Crash on Thanksgiving

West End Fire and Rescue responded to a Motor Vehicle Accident on Hwy 73 on Thanksgiving.

A Honda CRV was traveling east on N.C. 73 when it lost control, crashed through a fence and ended up on its side against a tree approximately 40-60 feet off the road.

During the crash, a piece of the wood fence smashed through the windshield, barely missing the driver.

The driver and two passengers were all uninjured and refused medical treatment.

Responding to the incident was West End Fire and Rescue, NC State Highway Patrol and Moore County EMS.
