West End Fire Department sponsored a Live Burn Training and opened it up to all neighboring Departments. The structure was found to be unsafe for an interior attack so this training would focus on an exterior attack only. The training also focused on how to approach a structure and orientate yourself to the structure. Having a standard way of labeling a structure keeps everyone on the incident scene safer knowing where they are and where other Firefighters or Equipment are located.
